Editorial Policy

How we score

Every listing gets a KWC Score out of 10, built from four weighted dimensions specific to its category:

Rankings sort by that computed score, highest first. We periodically revisit scores as a business changes — a renovation, a new chef, a service slip — rather than leaving a rating frozen at launch.

Independence

Nobody pays for placement on this site, and we carry no affiliate links. The same public methodology above applies to every listing, without exception — a business's rank is determined by its scored dimensions and nothing else.

Photo policy

Every photo is either sourced directly from the business (their website, social channels, or press kit) with a visible credit linking back to them, an openly licensed image for public parks and landmarks, or our own branded placeholder where no usable photo exists. We store and optimize every image ourselves — we never hot-link to a third party's server. If a business would like their photo removed or swapped, email hello@kwcexperiences.ca and we'll action it within 48 hours.

Corrections

We verify that a business is still operating before publishing or updating a listing, but hours, menus, and availability change faster than any static page can track — always check the business's own site before you go. If you spot something out of date, tell us at hello@kwcexperiences.ca.
